Activities and Their Evaluation of the Department of A/I Design GCWC
At Fashion Library, Gifu City Library

Abstract
Gifu City established a Branch of Gifu City Library at the lower space of JR Gifu Station in January２００２. At the same time The Fashion Library is also established in the corner of the City Library to support the apparel industry of Gifu area. We, Department of Apparel and Interior Design, Gifu City Women’s College sought a place to send our information in the mid-city. We, Dept. of A/I Design and FL, designed the space of the FL to use it as a gallery. We started to display works of students there in March２００２to inform and announce the researches, works and artificial works of teachers and students. After one year had passed authors surveyed the effect of establishment of Fashion Library and our activities of the Dept. of A/I Design. The results are shown in this paper and we will get some suggestions and guidelines which direction we should go for the future in terms of co-work of industry, government and college.
