Abstract
The art and design of life (Seikatu Design) is the area which handles an art activity in the life. On the other hand, The Lesser Arts on Morris to say is the art which makes one beautiful familiar living space daily and is approximately the same meaning. Therefore, in the paper, when studying art and design of life (Seikatu Design) about today, it thought of the concept, The Lesser Arts which is important in the thought on Morris, from the social background in the times, the Industrial Revolution. Then, as for the art and design of life (Seikatu Design), it considered from the history.
