The Students Attitude for the Project of 4th Gifu Mothers Collection

Abstract

This paper describes the students’ attitude for the collaboration project between apparel industry and academic institute in Gifu, 4th Gifu Mothers Collection which is organized by Gifu Apparel Industry Organization. Students of 2nd grade, fashion design course attend this project to understand the system of fashion business and apparel industry of Gifu area. They apply their original design illustration for middle aged women after studying fashion trends of 2013-14 AW to the organization. After the competition 16 designs were selected. They draw their pattern and specification form and ask to make garments to apparel industry. There were some collaboration works between students and industry until making up products. After the series of events I asked students about the evaluations of this project.
