Structural Summary of Wooden Large Span Domes

Abstract
Many wooden structures have been built for many years in Japan. In it, wooden houses with a comparatively large scale came to be built with development of laminate lumber.
There are some books of the dome structure using steel frame material. However, what focused on the dome structure which uses a woody system material is seldom found.
In this news, Author summarized the investigation conducted from a structural aspect paying attention to the woody system dome in Japan.
